As a partner at Galpins Tim is focused and driven to achieve his and his client's goals. Tim is a Registered Company Auditor, Registered
SMSF Auditor and Chartered Accountant specialising in the areas of risk and assurance services, financial and compliance auditing, internal
audit and consulting with a particular focus on local government and the public sector.
Tim's passion for improved governance and assurance across government has seen him appointed in leadership roles as Chairperson of the
Institute of Internal Auditor's (SA Chapter Council), Chairperson of the South Australian Local Government Auditors' Group (Tim was also the
Chairperson of the coordinating committee for the formation of this group) and Presiding Member for the City of Mitcham Audit Committee. He
is also an independent member of the Audit and Risk Committee for East Waste.
Through these roles and his position as Partner at Galpins, Tim aims to influence improved practice both for his clients and across the
sectors in which they operate. He has held lead roles in two award winning internal control projects, and is a vocal advocate for continuous
improvements that do not simply tick a compliance box, but actually underpin improved operational and strategic performance.
Tim's outstanding academic ability coupled with his practical, friendly approach to auditing has seen him add significant value to his
clients through the provision of audit and related services.
Tim is approachable and very open to the thoughts and views of others. When all the auditing is done, Tim enjoys nothing more than spending
time with his growing family.
