Receptionist

Office: MOUNT GAMBIER

Galpins Mount Gambier is seeking a receptionist to assist in providing a quality client experience.

As the first point of contact for our clients and business contacts, you will offer a friendly, helpful and professional approach to all interactions.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Greeting clients;
  • Answering all incoming calls and taking comprehensive phone messages;
  • Answering client requests and queries;
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining staff calendars;
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing client correspondence;
  • Physical and electronic filing and file maintenance;
  • Processing client payments and preparing daily banking; and
  • Ensuring the office is always professionally presented.

Applicants should have the following attributes:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including phone manner;
  • Strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office applications;
  • A general understanding of business and taxation terminology/concepts;
  • Commitment to providing a high level of customer service;
  • The ability to problem solve and maintain a high attention to detail; and
  • Be open to constructive feedback and have a desire for continual improvement.
